Generate your App
This is where you build your Android application when you are ready. When you press the green Build My App button, Andromo will build your Android Package File (APK) and then email you when the build has finished. After downloading your APK you may want to install your application on a mobile device or test your application without a mobile device
Your app's email download link expires after 24 hours, however you can always download your app directly from Andromo by going to "My Projects", locating your project in the list, and selecting "Download" from the "Action" dropdown.

Testing your application without a mobile device
This article will show you how to install your application onto the Android emulator using the Android Debug Bridge (ADB).
The first step is to download your Android Package (APK) file. Andromo will email you a link to your APK file after you have successfully built your application. Simply click on the link and save the file somewhere on your hard drive.
In order to use the ADB you must download and install the Android SDK. Installations instructions are available on the Android Developer website. Once everything is installed you will need to start the Android emulator.

How to take screenshots of your application
If you plan to publish your application to Google Play, you will be required to take at least two screenshots of your application. Following these steps will allow you to take screenshots of your application on your phone or tablet.

How to use Google Firebase analytics in your app
ENABLING FIREBASE ANALYTICS ON ANDROMO
Enabling Firebase Analytics on your mobile app is very easy with Andromo. No coding or complex steps required.
Please note that for this to work, you will need a Google Firebase account. If you don’t have one, create your account here.
First, you’ll need to add your app to Firebase.
1. After creating your Firebase account, log in and go to your console.
On your console’s left panel navigation, click on Analytics to expand the menu and then select ‘Dashboard’.

How to install your App onto a device
Allowing installations from unknown sources
In order to install your application onto your device (for testing before having added it to Google Play) you will need to allow the installation of applications from unknown sources. This setting can be found in your device's system settings under: Settings > Applications > Unknown sources:
If you do not enable this setting the installation of your application will be blocked by Android:

Setting Up AppBrain Ads
In order to show AppBrain interstitial ads in your app, you need to sign up for an AppBrain developer account and register your *published* app there using the URL to the app in Google Play.
Enable AppBrain support and publish your app to Google Play
1. Enable the AppBrain interstitial on the Monetization tab in your Andromo project settings.
In your Andromo project, check the box labeled AppBrain Interstitials on the Monetization tab under Interstitial Ads.

Andromo Professional Subscription
An Andromo Professional subscription gives the following benefits:
- removes all branding from the About dialog
- allows you to customize the internal Java package name of your app
- allows you to show custom text on the About dialog
About Dialog
The Professional subscription removes Andromo branding from the About dialog in all apps you build, resulting in white label apps with no mention of Andromo at all.
