Opening a website activity in auto adjustable width to suit the device
In the HTML Archive activity there is one following note.
NOTE: For best results, we recommend adding the following HTML 'meta' tag to the document 'head' of each of your HTML files:
Can we do something similar with website activity so that the website opens in a screen adjusted way?

Certainly. The website activity and Android attempt to scale non-mobile designed sites as best they can. Usually it looks very good. However, some sites are very mobile-unfriendly - the web designer of the site could add mobile meta-tags as you mentioned, or make a very mobile friendly version of their site. Unfortunately, that's out of our control... But you can certainly suggest it to the site owner!
Good luck,
Colin

Thanks for your quick reply. Just one quick question. Can we append some script to the website link so that it opens in screen adjusted manner. Currently, a website in which i am interested opens up in zoomed out fashion on my android device. Once I double tap the screen, it looks file. However, I dont want users of my application to do the same. I want it to open up correctly in first go.

Hi,
You Should take a look at this article: http://designbycode.tumblr.com/post/1127120282/pixel-perfect-androi...
You may want to add the following to your websites HTML code:
If you are using someone elses website, as Darryl mentioned, then I would see if they have a mobile version of their site available or if they could add the meta tags.
As far as a script to intercept the loading, I'm sorry but I do not believe that this is possible.
Best of luck,
Mark Mruss
