Hi folks

Any idea why:

1. Amazon ads no longer display despite being requested (I believe this is an EU problem due to new GDPR rules . Amazon say new APK should have fixed this but in the apps I have rebuilt there is no difference)

2. When newly built apps that are built for Amazon Kindle are uploaded to Amazon app store the device compatability is down to near zero devices and asks for Amazon TV media

Amazon ads are currently disabled for EU users in Andromo as described at the following URL:

They have released a new version, however they still haven't published it for Gradle dependency usage, only a jar normally used for old build systems. If worst comes to worst we'll change our build script to use their legacy method in the future.

However there's also a bunch of discussions on their forums about issues in their new release as well, so they'll need to resolve those before we update anything in Andromo. Over the past year, they've really started to show they don't care about their mobile ads.

As for the Amazon App store, I just uploaded a new simple app and it showed "232+ Supported devices". Andromo's minimum version requirement is Android 4.1 (API level 16) and targets Android 8.1 (API level 27). If you encounter this when updating an existing app, make sure you remove the old APK prior to uploading your new one. The Amazon TV media is referring to the information on the Images & Multimedia tab as indicated in the note.

If you continue to have problems, I suggest you contact their support department since they will be able to provide you with more information.
