I can't figure out where to find my Youtube username.

I'm getting "Youtube Data Error(55)" when i test my app.

I set up an API key, so i don't think it is that.

That didn't help.  It mentions username in the URL.  URL only has channel name.

    Hello,

We do not currently support querying by channel ID, however what you can do is set the "Display videos by" to "Playlist ID" instead, and reference the "uploads" playlist ID for the channel.

What is the URL of the YouTube channel you want to use?

    https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzmBoboynk0acrLPljPvc3g

I was able to get it working using search terms... but i got videos too that weren't mine, which is why i want to display by username.

    Hello,

This is the playlist ID for the "uploads" at that channel:

    UUzmBoboynk0acrLPljPvc3g

Getting the playlist items from a username or channel is a two step process via the YouTube api:

    1. Get the playlist ID, using either the username or channel ID
    2. Request the items in that playlist

Andromo currently only supports using a username for step 1, however you can skip that part by getting the playlist ID and using that instead.

For example, to get that playlist ID, I just performed the first step manually using the following URL:

    https://www.googleapis.com/youtube/v3/channels?part=contentDetails&id=UCzmBoboynk0acrLPljPvc3g&key=YOUR API KEY

...replacing "YOUR API KEY" with your own valid YouTube API key. If you put that in a browser, you'll see the uploads ID referenced in the returned JSON as:

    "uploads": "UUzmBoboynk0acrLPljPvc3g"

...which is the playlist ID you were looking for.

Note: support for YouTube Channel IDs is on our list of things we plan to add in the future.
